CUT PASTE: This cut past is made in Japan specifically for bonsai use. It has a putty like consistency and is used to protect pruning wounds from drying out, insects, and disease. A must for azaleas and large wounds on most species. 160 gram jar (about 1/3 lb.) $9.00

BONSAI SOIL: Adams’ Bonsai soil mix is suitable for all but the smallest mame bonsai. It is a sterile mix composed of Turface, grit, and peat. I have been using this mix exclusively for nearly thirty years with excellent results. Due to the lack of available nutrients in this mix, annual use of a trace element supplement such as Micromax is recommended for plants such as Zuisho which are unusually sensitive to trace element deficiencies.
